Hello SeeSlowers,

The weather is beautiful again and its time to appreciate our environs and see slowly plein aire style!  We will meet in the gardens outside the hall and draw people and buildings, then maybe go for a walk to draw in the cemetary on 4th street.  

The area around carpenters hall is pretty beautiful as well as being the site of the first continental congress in 1774.   http://www.ushistory.org/carpentershall/

Happy 2012 and welcome year of the Dragon!  Holiday whirlwind is over, its dreary and dark outside.  What do we want?  To spend a couple of hours drawing interior spaces and artifacts in one of philadelphia's strangest and most sprawling edifices.

According to the forecast, this weekend should be gorgeous.  Lets take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and be outside with the amazing puppets of Spiral Q and the lush niceness of Bartrams Gardens!

Celebrating its 175th year and located near Kelly Drive, Laurel Hill is full of monuments, stone angels and lions, winding roads and trees to look at and draw.   It is accessible by bike, by car, and by bus from center city.
